Confluence Energy is a producer of wood pellets
primarily used as a heating fuel. We
utilize
available biomass in the form of trees that
have been killed by the mountain pine beetle, and turn
these trees into a usable, stable, sustainable, clean,
domestic energy source.
We are excited about participating in the expansion
of renewable energy production and
consumption in the
US. This energy market, unlike petroleum-based energy,
is both produced and consumed domestically, minimizing
transportation and political considerations, and
optimizing efficiency.
We see enormous growth potential for wood-based fuel
products for 3 primary reasons: strong and stable demand
growth for heating fuels, tightening supplies
(especially domestically), and readily available biomass
feedstock. |
